These Terms and Conditions apply to use of the Beyond January website and to nutritional therapy, follow-up consultations, functional testing packages and related services supplied by Beyond January.

1. About Beyond January

Beyond January Nutrition & Wellness is operated by Nicola Peters. References to 'Beyond January', 'we', 'us' or 'our' mean Nicola Peters trading as Beyond January.

2. Website information

The information on this website is provided for general information and education. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

If you are concerned about symptoms, medication, a medical condition or an urgent health issue, you should seek appropriate medical advice. Do not stop or change prescribed medication solely on the basis of information provided by Beyond January.

3. Services

Beyond January provides personalised nutritional therapy, follow-up support and optional functional testing. Recommendations are based on the information available at the time and may include nutrition, lifestyle and supplement suggestions.

We may decline or postpone a service where we reasonably believe it is outside our scope of practice, is not suitable for you or requires medical assessment first.

4. Bookings and payment

• Prices and session lengths are those shown on the website or otherwise confirmed to you at the time of booking.
• Consultations and packages are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise.
• Functional tests, supplements, delivery or other third-party costs may be charged separately where this is made clear before purchase.
• Face-to-face appointments may carry an additional charge where stated.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to change an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Where unforeseen circumstances mean you cannot attend, we will normally try to reschedule the appointment.

Payments are generally non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, except where required by law or where Beyond January agrees otherwise. Any statutory consumer cancellation rights that apply to an online or distance booking take priority over this general policy.

6. Functional testing

Functional testing is optional and may be provided through independent laboratories. Tests may not be appropriate for everyone. Suitability may depend on factors such as medication, pregnancy, contraception, kidney issues or other health considerations.

Laboratory results are one part of the overall assessment and do not by themselves amount to a medical diagnosis. Laboratory processing times and sample requirements are outside Beyond January's direct control.

7. Your responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

• provide accurate and relevant information about your health, medication, supplements and circumstances;
• tell us about significant changes that may affect recommendations or testing;
• seek appropriate medical advice where recommended or where symptoms require medical attention; and
• ask questions if anything in your plan or recommendations is unclear.

8. Results and outcomes

Everyone responds differently to nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements and testing. Beyond January will provide services with reasonable care and skill, but no particular health, weight, symptom or test outcome can be guaranteed.

9. Third-party services and links

The website or our recommendations may refer to laboratories, supplements, payment providers, booking systems or other third-party services. Those providers are responsible for their own products, services, availability, terms and privacy practices.

10. Intellectual property

The Beyond January name, branding, website content, handouts, protocols and other original materials are protected by intellectual property law. Materials supplied to clients are for personal use only and must not be reproduced or used commercially without permission.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or affects your statutory consumer rights. Beyond January is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or withheld information, failure to seek appropriate medical care, or the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers, except where the law provides otherwise.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Beyond January Privacy Policy, including information provided through enquiries, consultations and functional testing.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website. Changes will not normally affect services already booked and paid for unless required by law or agreed with you.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer laws that apply where you live.
